◆ ABOUT THE SHOW ◆

From Cobbles to Rock, darling.

About The 20th Century Show

This is the concert version of Fiona's touring stage musical, From Cobbles to Rock. The musical tells a story. Here, the music does the talking.

Fiona trained as a classical soprano and has a three-octave range, and this is the show where that side of her meets the swing, the musical theatre and the rock and roll. She changes songs and costumes along the way to keep a little surprise in every programme, and everything is performed with poise and a proper sense of occasion.

How it works

Fiona brings everything with her: sound system, microphones and backing tracks. Each track is commissioned and recorded to her own orchestral arrangements, so it sounds like a band without needing one.

She works in venues of any size, from a private dining room to a crowd of thousands, in the UK and abroad. Tell her about your venue and the occasion and she will shape the set to fit.

Who it suits

Dinner cabaret, hotel events, corporate evenings and any audience with mixed tastes.

Frequently asked questions

Where does The 20th Century Show come from?

It is adapted from Fiona's popular touring stage musical, From Cobbles to Rock. Where the stage musical tells a story, the concert version lets the music do the talking and takes the audience decade by decade through the century.

How does the show end?

It concludes with the aria Nessun Dorma, which gives the evening a grand last note. Before that, the programme runs from Opera to Rock and Roll across 1900 to 2000.

Is it suitable for a mixed audience?

Yes. Because it covers music from 1900 to 2000 and from Opera to Rock and Roll, it has something for most tastes. Few audiences share a favourite decade, so a programme that visits all of them gives every guest a moment that feels like theirs.

Can Fiona travel to my venue?

Yes. Her backing tracks are digitally recorded, which enables her to work anywhere in the world. Fiona brings her own sound system, so there is no band to book unless you want one.
