Book this show◆ ABOUT THE SHOW ◆
Straight from Tin Pan Alley.
These are the songs that every other era of popular music has borrowed from. Fiona brings them to the stage with a clear, classically trained soprano voice and the polish of an artist who has made vintage repertoire her speciality.
Songs from her wider 1920s and 30s repertoire give a sense of the range: Irving Berlin's Cheek to Cheek and Putting on the Ritz, and Cole Porter's You're the Top and Let's Do It. Fiona has also hosted and compered events from The Great American Song Book in top hat and tails.
The show is smart and sophisticated rather than loud, which makes it a good match for a dinner or an after-dinner slot where conversation and music need to share the room.
Fiona is available for vintage fairs and tea rooms, with a specially designed package of 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off throughout the day.
