We'll Meet Again: The Ultimate 1940s Sing-Along

We'll Meet Again is Fiona Harrison's most popular sing-along show, performed in full authentic ATS, WRNS or WAAF uniform. It recreates the music of the Andrews Sisters, Vera Lynn and Glenn Miller and ends with a patriotic finale.

◆ ABOUT THE SHOW ◆

Chin up, chaps!

About We'll Meet Again

Fiona's close harmony work is the signature of the show. She records two harmony parts onto her backing track and sings the melody live, so that she appears to sing in triplicate. The result sounds like the Andrews Sisters and is unlike any other act on the 1940s scene.

There are three versions, one for each uniform. In the ATS version Fiona takes the rank of Lance Corporal and sings Mairzy Doats and Dozy Doats, Run Rabbit Run and Lili Marlene, concluding with a flag-waving Vera Lynn finale. The WRNS version, The Fleet's in Port Again, brings the nautical favourites. The WAAF version, Straighten Up and Fly Right, features The Dambusters and is well suited to RAF functions and mess dinners.

Whichever uniform you choose, the evening is packed with 1940s favourites, including White Cliffs of Dover, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Leaning on a Lamppost, Run Rabbit and Babies of the Blitz. Fiona concludes with Land of Hope and Glory in a British-themed finale.

◆ ON THE DAY ◆

Just add a room.

How it works

Fiona is completely self-contained. She brings her own sound system and backing tracks that she has had recorded to her own orchestral arrangements, so there is no band to book unless you want one.

For heritage, steam railway and re-enactment events, Fiona offers a weekend package of three 45-minute non-repetitive costume shows a day, plus an optional Friday or Saturday night dance. Set times can also be 1 x 60, 2 x 45 or 2 x 60 minutes.

She performs indoors and outdoors, and her own system can sound up to 2000 people for the larger outdoor events.

She can also work alongside live bands.

Fiona likes to tailor each show to the venue and the occasion, so tell her what you have in mind when you enquire.
